European Vette Sales Rise
One positive thing General Motors has going for them right now is their increased sales and market share in Europe. One model line that's adding its fair share? Of course, the Corvette. The Detroit News
GM Europe, based in Zurich, Switzerland, said it sold more than 1.98 million cars and light commercial vehicles last year, up 1.1 percent from the 1.96 million it sold during 2004. [GM's] overall share of the market rose to 9.5 percent, but that left it still behind other automakers such as Volkswagen AG and DaimlerChrysler AG.
GM sold over 1,000 Corvettes in Europe alone. The numbers are only going to grow as Europe embraces the beauty
the Corvette delivers.
