The Bucks County Courier Times recently reported a spate of Corvette T-Top thefts. A C3 with T-Tops is pictured.
The suburban city of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (just northeast of Philadelphia) saw windows broken and T-Tops lifted on eight Corvettes on Thursday, January 11 at Autostrada Auto Sales.
Anti-theft proactively by dealerships could include keeping a dealerships' entire inventory of Corvettes inside. From security cameras to motion detectors, Corvettes deserve the best security a dealership has to offer.
As one of Michigan's larger Corvette dealers, we always keep our entire Corvette inventory indoors in our large showroom so that just this thing can't occur. When buying your new Vette, demand that your dealership store them indoors. Don't accept a Corvette that has been the victim of vandalism or weather-related ailments. Snow, ice and salt don't mix with a Corvette.
