An event in Detroit called "Be A Tiger For Kids," being held August 21, will raise funds for Cornerstone Schools and give many folks an opportunity to win a 2000 Corvette or a 2008 Tahoe.
Funds are being raised to provide scholarships to more than 1,000 students at Cornerstone Schools. Cornerstone Schools is working to change Detroit one child at a time. The Detroit Tigers support that effort, and are asking you to join the team!
Participants can get into the game for as little as $40. Designated contributions all contain a ticket to the August 21st game, admission to the pre-game concert and picnic sponsored by Big Boy and Pepsi, an exclusive Tiger orange event t-shirt, and a Meijer savings card worth as much as $300!
Some contributions even give you the opportunity to enter a drawing for a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe and a 2000 Chevrolet classic Corvette, two-for-one dinner at any Andiamo, two-for-one Detroit Symphony Orchestra tickets, and tickets for the Tigers vs. Yankees series August 24-27!
Come to the game. Give a child a future. Be a Tiger for Kids.
