Corvettes at the Summit, Part III

Not every Corvette owner has been able to collect signatures of Corvette chief engineers and Corvette Racing Team race drivers.  And, of those few who have, even fewer would have those signatures painted in silver on the engine covers of his Corvette!

Yet, this is exactly what David Newman of Oregon, Ohio has accomplished!  Every engineer’s signature is there, except for Zora Arkus-Duntov.  I saw there the signatures of Johnny O’Connell, Ron Fellows, and many others.

David’s 2005 is lovingly nick-named the "Silver Bullet", and his business card shows a picture of his prized automobile.  It was a pleasure to meet David this past weekend at the Corvettes at the Summit event.

Bill, Nice meeting you at Corvettes at the Summit. Thanks for the comments about the “Silver Bullet” or “Buckeye Car” if from OHIO. We have had a great time with this car as it matches my first (a l960 270 horse delivered new January 7th,1960 for list of $4629.85). In closing, Good Luck and Best Wishes on your Corvette Blog site. If I can be of any help feel free to call anytime!

Thank you for the best wishes. We are excited about the Corvette Blog filling an unfilled niche, and being a service to the Corvette community. I will look forward to seeing you in the future.

Has anyone any interest in an authentic Zora Duntov signed USA-1 license plate?
