This is the best news we’ve had all year for 2008 Corvette production constraints. Ordering is NOT CONSTRAINED this week.
That’s right, you can now order 89U Crystal Red Metallic again meaning all constraints have been lifted.
This goes for 2008 Corvettes and 2008 Corvette Z06‘s.
As always, we at CorvetteBlog have the latest constraints straight from General Motors. 2008 Corvettes that are ordered this week have a Target Production Period (TPP) of October 15-21, 2007.
Remember, If you’re looking to order a new 2008 Corvette or Z06, let us know by leaving a comment (kept private) or by giving us a call at (888) 875-0728.
I understand that the Corvette Z06 3ZL option has been constrained to zero. Is that correct? Are any being built? Will the option be pulled? Part supplier problems have been sighted with no indication for a time frame to resolve.
I might be interested in buying a 2006 Corvette that has the GM incentives on financing. Where could I find out who still has inventory of these vehicles?
I carefully read the description of the new Chevrolet “Time to Buy” incentives this morning (Monday) and discovered that the 2006 models do not get the additional $1000 Bonus Cash. Your best bet is probably 2007′s through October 1.
There is no national clearinghouse list of 2006′s in existence that CorvetteBlog knows of. That said, we can assist in finding what you want, if 2007.
Robert, I don’t know anything about the Parts Supplier having problems with the 2008 Corvette Z06 3LZ package. As of this past Thursday, there were no constraints listed Nationally by GM. I’ll watch this week’s list that comes out on Thursday morning and have another post to confirm either way.
