Cars.com’s blog, Kicking Tires, recently reviewed the 2008 Corvette giving it mixed reviews. The review is written by 3 different co-authors including Joe Bruzek from Ask.cars.com, David Thomas from Kicking Tires, and Ian Merritt, the staff photographer.
Bruzek liked the power of the LS3 engine, but was turned off by various interior features like the door release buttons instead of actual handles. (I’ve always enjoyed that difference, but that’s me…)
Thomas enjoyed the power around the track as well, but hates the interior. He was looking for more of something like the new CTS interior. (That’d be great, don’t get me wrong, but I want to see the 4LT interior in person before making my decision!)
Merritt had my favorite line from the review. "To an untrained car reviewer like myself, the 2008 Chevy Corvette sounds a lot like I would expect it to sound: a freight train mashed up with a 747 jet engine. It drives even better."
