This week’s Video of the Week is all about putting together the LS9 engine. General Motors Performance Build Center is the heart of where the ZR1’s internal combustion engine is built. From a sneak-peak visit, Automobile Magazine was able to catch a video of the entire production phase for us.
It takes a total of four and a half hours to transform a standard block of aluminum into a supercharged LS9. Through the fast-forward magic of video formatting, you are able to check out a seven minute condensed version of the transformation.
