Chances are if someone can afford to buy the new 2009 Corvette ZR1, they also have the spare money to spend on some extra tires!
Well, this powerful, beautiful, go-fast vehicle, with an ability to reach 60 MPH within 3.4 seconds, was put to the test. When General Motor’s #1 burnout artist took to the wheel, he was successfully able to create two 300-foot lengths of pure burned rubber stains.
The smoke storm that staggered behind the rear tires billowed up into the clean air. The utter sound of ZR1’s hard-working 638 HP 6.2-liter LS9 engine also added to the ultimate excitement.
