Just this past August, we told you about the C6.R Corvette debuting for the first time ever in the new GT2 race class. That was then.
Now… we’re here to here to tell you about the new racing ‘Vette!
Doug Fehan, Corvette Racing program manager, recently unveiled the all-new 2010 C6.R V8 5.5-liter Corvette.
Yes, the vehicle already debuted, but NOT with the powerful engine she has in tow now. The new engine actually has been in the making since the vehicle’s initial debut. The production of the engine will continue to be built alongside ZR1 and Z06 V8s in GM’s Performance Build Center.
The C6.R, new engine and all, will officially hit the tracks for the first time at this year’s 12 Hours of Sebring in March. Stay tuned to follow closely on how well she performs!
