The Corvette’s 2013 model run, the 60th Anniversary of Corvette’s introduction in 1953, is scheduled to be the final one for the sixth generation Corvette, and marks the end of the following models for some time:
• 427 Convertible
• Grand Sport Coupe
• Grand Sport Convertible
The Factory suggests that the 2013 model run will end production in early first quarter 2013, that is, before the end of March of next year. We would estimate that final orders may need to be turned in before the Christmas break, or maybe just after!
Most of the 2013 models were present at the recent NCM Bash, but there was clearly a preponderance of 60th Anniversary Design Packaged cars. In these photos, you can see the ZR1 twice, the 427 Convertible, and the Grand Sport Coupe (behind Tadge). The special anniversary package is also available on Coupe, Convertible, and Grand Sport Convertible (with 4LT trim), as well as Z06 in 3LZ trim.
The 60th Anniversary Package (Option Code Z25) retails for $1075 on the 4LT 427 Convertible and the 3ZR ZR1, and for $1425 on 4LT Coupe & Convertible and 3LZ Z06. Features include an Arctic White exterior with body-color door handles, Twilight Blue custom leather-wrapped interior with Blue accent stitching, Blue top with woven tonal stripes on convertible models, embossed and embroidered 60th Anniversary logos, special steering wheel badge, ZR1-style spoiler, special wheel center caps, and gray-painted brake calipers.
While the optional Z30 60th Anniversary Package is not currently available, these cars can be ordered now. If you would like to have a 2013 Corvette priced out, please contact us at George Matick Chevrolet. Call Bill at 313-532-2571.
