After crossing into the Central Time Zone from my home state of Michigan, I find this super-charged Callaway Corvette a pleasure to drive! It is of interest to me that I see more Vettes heading east, instead of west like me to the Corvette Funfest in Effingham, Ill. That should change soon, as I am probably just seeing local traffic. The annual Sept. 13-16 event attracts some 40,000 enthusiasts and 15,000 Corvettes. So I expect to see more on the highway as I get closer to central Illinois.
