This year's Corvette Funfest, held annually by Mike Yager at his Mid-America Motorworks, promises to be yet another winner!  This year's dates are Thursday, September 13 through Sunday, September 16.

Billed as the "largest Corvette party in the world," with more excitement than ever, Mike Yager, "Chief Cheerleader" of Mid-America Motorworks, expects upwards of 17,000 cars (mostly Corvettes) and 45,000 spectators (mostly Corvette lovers) to show up on his acreage in Effingham, Illinois.

As always, there is something for everyone here: a fabulous judged Corvette Show, access to the MY (Mike Yager) Garage Museum, Fun Run Road Tour and Downtown Party, Saturday evening concert (described in the next paragraph), opportunities to see real Corvette celebrities be interviewed, fifty seminars, a place to purchase MAM goods and services, access to Corvette vendors like Callaway Cars, representatives of the Corvette enterprise from Chevrolet, a Cars for Sale Corral, a Corvette Parts Swap Meet, an opportunity to see The Quest Documentary, and so much more!  Click here for the complete schedule.

This year's Saturday night concert will get attention from thousands.  Featured this year is the band World Classic Rockers, which includes former members of Journey, Santana, Boston, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Steppenwolf.  They will perform a night of chart-topping classic rock hits, and it's all free with event admission.

See the FunFest website for all the costs and details.  I hope to see you next week!
