By now, you’re likely all “up to speed” on the 2014 Stingray, following its debut at Detroit’s North American International Auto Show.
But if we could put it in reverse for a moment, we’d like to suggest you take another look at the 2013, this time in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s just-released movie, The Last Stand.
The Corvette ZR1 in the film is the getaway car of choice for the film’s bad guy. According to blogs.cars.com, the real-life, high-performance sports coupe's 638-horsepower, supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 is good for a top speed of 205 mph. The ZR1 in the film, however, is referred to by characters as "modified" and able to reach 250 mph.
So get to the show, grab some popcorn, sit back and … buckle up! You can see a trailer to the movie and a bit of Corvette action here.
