What Happens with Rental Corvettes? This...
When we heard that Hertz was going to offer the "Hertz Corvette ZHZ" for rentals, we were surprised but at the same time encouraged that they were giving non-Corvette owners the opportunity to drive what we love. Now that said, how do you prepare people renting the vehicle for the power and handling the vehicle has?We now hear of the first incident involving the ZHZ in Dallas. The Corvette crashed into the popular Dallas Restaurant, La Madeleine this past Monday, resting on the patio area out front.
Some quick details about the ZHZ edition of the Corvette (from Hertz's website): Chevy made 500 ZHZ's for Hertz, all with Magnetic Selective Ride Control, and all Automatics.
Will this make Hertz rethink their decision? I wonder what one of these things goes for to rent anyway? Either way, if you see the signature distinct ZHZ yellow and black striped Vette coming down the road, I'd keep alert!
