What's the vehicle that's pictured? I'd love to see a larger picture.
This beautiful vehicle, the Chevrolet Corvair (not to be confused with the production vehicle with the same name in the early 1960's), is one of three original 1953 Corvette concept vehicles. The first concept vehicle, the roadster, was of course put into production and became the 1953 Corvette. The Corvair was the fast-back version, and never made it to production. The third version was the Nomad, which was a station wagon. Only the name made it to production in the beautiful 1955-57 full-size Chevy nomad station wagons.
