Corvette Z06 Wins Writers Choice Award
The Corvette Z06 won the Writers Choice Award last weekend at The Texas Challenge, a spring automotive comparison event sponsored by the Texas Auto Writers Association. The Z06 beat out last year's winner, the Ford GT, as well as 53 other entries. Some 50 auto journalists and 12 auto manufacturers participated in the event held at The Oasis in Austin. This was the fourth year of The Texas Challenge and the second year for a GM win. The Cadillac CTS-V won the first Writers Choice Award in 2004.
