Corvette Wins 2 Strategic Vision Total Quality Awards

Total Quality AwardStrategic Vision has come out with their 2006 Total Quality Awards, and the Chevrolet Corvette has won not one, but two of the prestigious awards.

The Chevy Corvette Coupe won best in the Small Specialty Over $25,000 Segment.  With a TQI score of 908, it surpassed competitors such as the Nissan 350Z Coupe and Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe.

The Corvette Convertible won best in the Convertibles Over $30,000 Segment.  912 TQI points put the Corvette on top, advancing past other convertibles like the Mercedes-Benz SLK Roadster and the BMW Z4 Roadster.

In related news:  With 6 Total Value Segments won, (5 by Chevy alone) General Motors proved to be the top domestic corporation.  Besides the Corvette, GM took honors for the Chevy Silverado 2500/3500 in the Heavy Duty Pickup Segment, the Saturn Vue in the Small SUV Segment, the Chevy HHR in the Small Multi-Function Segment, and the Chevy Malibu Maxx in the Medium Multi-Function Segment.
