Traveling to Miami Beach in your Vette and looking for a night of pampering for you and your car?
According to www.hotelchatter.com, the Regent South Beach Hotel, a luxury 80-suite condominium hotel on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach is offering “turndown” service for the luxury automobiles of its patrons. Their website suggests that “anything you desire to see, taste, hear or wear is just steps away.”
We wrote recently of a couple who donated big money to the National Corvette Museum expansion because they had no children. Now, if your Vette is your “baby,” this hotel offers “car-sitting.”
The article, entitled “Regent South Beach Ups the Ante of Hotel Luxury with Car-Sitting Services,” states:
The nightly tuck-in is available to all guest cars. But applications for the car-sitting service require information on the automobile's make, model, year and condition. The turndown service is to include a wash and wax, interior vacuuming, tire pressure check and a daily front-seat gift for the driver. The car-sitting service is to offer a valet to closely monitor the car in the hotel's on-site parking garage until sunrise.
And yes, if you have to ask how much it costs, then you can’t afford it.
