National Corvette Museum Well Worth the Trip!

Friday morning found me heading south from Detroit through Cincinnati and Louisville for my first visit to the Holy Grail of the Corvette Lovin’ World, the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

As I pulled into the lot Saturday morning for a closer look, I found the exterior unpretentious except for the eye-catching orangey-red spike poking out the roof. Could this building really hold that many secrets? Was it worth the eight hard hours of driving? Was I in for a surprise!

Marketing & Communications Manager Bobbie Jo Lee had prepared for my arrival with great care, and I was treated to the southern hospitality one would expect. My tour host for the morning was the gregarious and ever capable Lance Houk (pictured). Every question was given an informed response. Lance has more stories than you could shake a stick at.

Keep checking back here as I share some of these stories with you.
