According to Krysten Oliphant for The Detroit News, "Golf is rarely associated with high-speed excitement and thrilling turns.  But players in the Buick Open experienced just that — riding in high-speed sports cars with professional drivers — Tuesday, at the General Motors Driving Experience at Waterford Hills Road Racing.

Vehicles used during the event included blue and yellow Chevrolet Corvette Z06s, a yellow race-ready Pontiac Solstice GXP, and an official 2007 Indianapolis 500 Corvette C6 Pace Car

Golfers who enjoyed the experience included Parker McLaughlin, Jason Gore, Frank Lickliter, and Jeff Gove .
