"Will you and your Corvette go to heaven?" That was the question I encountered as I visited one of the more unusual vendors at Bloomington Gold.
John Kalashian, founder of Corvettes for Christ, has an answer for that question, so he took four days out of a beautiful late spring for friendly chat with folks about spiritual things at Bloomington Gold. He hopes someday to be a volunteer chaplain for BG.
John said that he had a lot of fun taking more interest in the Corvette owners than in their cars, even as his pretty 1986 Corvette sat in the background. John (second from right) is pictured with BG officials.
John’s website isn’t up yet, but he can be reached at Corvettes for Christ, P.O. Box 32, Caledonia, WI 53108-0032.
Corvettes for Christ, a non-profit Christian Ministry proclaiming the Good News of the Free Gift of Salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ distributes the tract “Are You And Your Corvette Going to Heaven?”. Corvettes For Christ appears regularily at the Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin Mc Donalds on Highway 20 on Thursday nights and can be reached for further information at Kalashians@aol.com. or by calling 262-639-9336
John:

His Ways are My Ways,
Brian
Hi Brian,
God’s richest Blessings !! I do not have a web site as of yet but this is something I would like. Two things or obstacles right now are the finances and the technical know-how. I will be returning to the Bloomington in 2008 and by God’s Grace will have a busy summer with shows. I Praise God for helping me lead two lost souls for Christ in 2007 !! Not by our works but by His shed blood on the cross are we saved. Have you trusted through faith in Christ’s Free Gift of Salvation ? Ephesians 2:8-9. I will try reaching you through the e-mail provided to me.
Behold today is the day of Salvation.
AMEN
My new website is http://www.corvettesforchrist.org please come and visit me. See you all at the 2008 Bloomington Gold where I once again will have a booth.
