The 10,000 fanciers of the automobile who descended upon the Meadowbrook Concours d"Elegance in Rochester Hills, Michigan Sunday discovered a stunning collection of chrome and steel.
Because GM celebrates its One Hundredth Anniversary this year, there were many more GM products in attendance than I have seen at Meadowbrook before. Of special note were the Corvettes, including the 1959 Sting Ray Special Racer and 1967 Astro I Concept (professional pictures below).
A gathering of supercars was parked near the mansion’s extensive assortment of garages. Included among them were the Bugatti Veyron, the Audi R8, and the Corvette ZR1. I was told that the car I captured on my cell phone was Harlan Charles‘ daily driver.
