Chevy keeps rolling out special editions of the Corvette, and we love it! Last week, for example, we updated the news on the Z06 Carbon Edition. There’s always something new for us to consider, and the same is true with the Corvette sibling, Camaro. And, although Corvette is our first love, Camaro‘s are mighty appealing too, don’t you think?
This time Chevy is announcing the 2012 45th Anniversary Edition of the Camaro, with lots of features to grab our attention. The 45th Anniversary Edition Package includes the following:
Carbon Flash Metallic exterior
Newly designed 20" Deep Silver painted aluminum wheels
Brilliant Red and Medium Charcoal stripe package and body-side logo
HID headlamps with LED halo ring (from the RS Package)
Body color roof ditch moldings (on coupe) or Black Top (on convertible)
Black leather-appointed seating surfaces with special logo embroidering on front seats
Red, white, and blue accent stitching
White instrument / door panel inserts with passenger side logo on the instrument panel insert
This package will be available on both the V6 powered 2LT and V8 powered 2SS. Also getting press is the new, more powerful version of the V6, now with 323 hp and no loss in fuel economy!
Production begins this summer, and first models will arrive at dealerships during the second half of the year. More info. See photos past the jump.
