Weekly Corvette Ordering Constraints

Once again, CorvetteBlog is first to provide the complete list of current constrained items when ordering 2013 Corvettes.  Corvettes ordered this week will be built November 26-29.

In summary, two colors are gone for the year (so, no change), and one model remains limited in availability.  The details:

GLB SuperSonic Blue Metallic and 28U Inferno Orange both remain on Buildout Restriction, meaning that these colors are no longer available for ordering.  They are gone for Model Year 2013.  We may be able to find you a car in these colors through a search of dealer's lots, however.

All trim levels (1SA/1SB/1SC) of the 427 Convertible remain on Material Restriction, a matter that they expect to be resolved in longer than 4 weeks.  However, 20% of orders are still being processed, so order now; maybe your order will be picked up!

Once again, let me mention that we haven't been told the exact cutoff date for ordering a 2013 Corvette, but it has to be coming up pretty soon.  It may very well be as soon as next month.  Remember this is a transitional year for the factory, so it will be closing very early next year (and then for maybe as long as six months).

If you're looking to custom order any of the seven Corvette models: Coupe or Convertible, Grand Sport Coupe or Convertible, 427 Convertible, Z06, or ZR1, please look no further than right here at CorvetteBlog.com. Also, if you need a Callaway Corvette of any variety, contact us now!  We even have one of just a few B2K Collector's Edition Callaway Corvettes that remain.

We are uniquely positioned, with allocation, to provide you extremely aggressive quotes on purchasing or leasing the Corvette of your dreams. Please leave a comment below (which will be kept private) or give us a call at 313-531-7100 to learn more about how competitive we can be. We also offer nationwide shipping and delivery.

Bill: I live in Ontario Canada. I have been searching online for a 2012 Carlisle Blue Convertible with Cashmere Interior

    Can you help?

Unfortunately in this situation, U.S. dealers are not allowed to sell new Corvettes (or any other new car) across the border into any other country. You as a Canadian/Canadien have to take delivery at your own U.S. address, and keep it here for upwards of a year before taking it across the border. Some Canadians have been creative to find someone to buy the car for them here, hold it for the required time period, and then sell it to them as a used car for use in Canada.
