Hey, Corvette enthusiasts! Join Matick Chevy rain or shine for Corvette Generations Car Show, an exciting new event July 27 (yes, we know, it’s the same day as the Waterford Hills Vintage Races weekend, so fire up for both!). Held in conjunction with Birmingham, Michigan's “Day on the Town,” the event will draw Corvettes from around metro Detroit.
The Matick Chevy Corvette team is especially enthused about their new sponsorship of the North Oaks Corvette Club, which is working with the city of Birmingham to make this a great day.
The 1st annual Generations Car Show is limited to 150 Corvettes, so reserve a spot early (see the form below).
"We are excited to welcome the North Oaks Corvette Club's Corvette Generations Car Show and their sponsor Matick Chevrolet. Birmingham loves cars, and the show will be a great addition to Day On The Town," reports John Heiney, executive director of the Birmingham Principal Shopping District.
Lots of fun is on tap, including a People's Choice competition (trophies will be awarded and presented by Matick Chevy's GM Molly Williams). It’s an extra-special day as this is Birmingham’s busiest retail day of the year. All the shops present special activities, sidewalks are jammed with shoppers and goods, special entertainers are on-hand and more.
The gates open at 9:30 a.m. Voting runs from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and trophies will be presented at 3 p.m.
Registration fee: $20 (prior to the event) or $25 the day of the show, space permitting. To register or for more information, visit northoakscorvetteclub.com.
